Originally from southern Maryland, I attended Salisbury State University (now Salisbury University) my freshmen year. I transferred to Millersville University my sophomore year to finish up my B.S. degree in Meteorology. Laramie, Wyoming was next on my list, being accepted to the Atmospheric Science department here at the University of Wyoming. As a Masters student I worked under Dr. Thomas Parish, a fellow boundary layer enthusiast. I am currently a Ph.D student working with Dr. Bart Geerts on the CuPIDO project funded by NSF. (More information in About Research)

I am your typical nerdy meteorologist, wanting to do this ever since I was a child, though I have to say, out of touch with the current weather having not looked at any meteorology in several months but thats about to change. I love the weather, our atmosphere, and everything about it, hence what I am and who I am.

Along the way I have worked at various places such as the National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) specifically the Joint Agricultural Weather Facility (JAWF), and the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Cheyenne, WY (NWS-CYS) and, of course, your run of the mill jobs at seafood restaurants! Oh and Crapplebees as well...

I am also a huge sports nut. Growing up in Maryland, I am a DIE HARD Orioles and Redskins fan, though its been a tough orange and black ride since 1997 (umm no lawyer should ever own a sports franchise...Peter Angelos...sell the Os!!!).

Recently married (Aug. 05) to the most wonderful women in the world, Amanda, who really has to put up with something (those of you who really know me understand)! We bought a townhouse here in Laramie and currently undertaking DIY home renovations.
