Flight Information

This page is intended to inform the campus community of currently scheduled flights using the University of Wyoming aircraft. In addition, a "wish list" of flights is included. It is our hope that this list will be of assistance when making your travel plans. Only employees and guests of the University of Wyoming on university business are permitted to fly on university aircraft.

Aircraft Scheduling Information

Aircraft Scheduling

It is a goal of the Flight Facility to accommodate as many users as economically as possible. Since the transportation airplanes are jointly used, considerable coordination is required. Frequently it is possible to schedule trips where more than one party may be accommodated and cost shared.

Tentative Scheduling

Flights may be tentatively scheduled. Should another user request a trip during the same time period, the tentative schedule must either be made firm or lose the time available to the user with the firm schedule.

Scheduling Priority

Priority is normally on a first-come-first-served basis. The President and the Trustees may preempt other users occasionally, but this does not happen often.

Cost

Transportation flights are billed to the user rate per nautical mile regardless of seats occupied. This cost can be shared among multiple users as they agree. Please call or email Susan Allen (307-766-5352, sallen@uwyo.edu) for latest rate and and any applicable fuel surcharges.

Permitted Use

Only University of Wyoming employees, and guests of the UW President and Trustees, on university business are permitted to fly are permitted to fly on the aircraft.
