I was born in Pescara, Italy in 1973.

The town lies along the italian central east coast.

The beach is a must in the summer, although the highest peaks of the Appennines are only 1.5 hours away.

It is hard to find another region with so many flying sites at short driving distances. The scenery is breath taking, elevation gains reach above 3000', and both thermal and ridge soaring are available. Visit the flying page and links to know more.

The airport serves various cities in Europe and Italy. Two major autostradas connect Pescara to the North and South of Italy (A14) and to the West (A24/25) (see Map).

Villages and medieval castles are scattered throughout the region and all sorts of views are at hand: from high-plains to canyons and gorges, from maritime dunes to mountain over-hanging rocks.
